The logistical challenges to implement the environmental management system in a natural gas company in the North Region

The implementation of the environmental management system (EMS) in large companies arises from need to standardize operations and reduce impacts. general objective study is develop a protocol for an based on ISO 14001 standards natural gas company region Amazonas-AM. monitoring data, indicators SGA used this work were collected pipeline North region, located Manaus. In development work, methodology consists exploratory, documentary, with quali-quantitative where survey information about EMS logistical execution activities was carried out. through interviews questionnaires applied company's professionals. It concluded that internal context, well strengthened because within its processes value chain, there are well-structured areas such as Social Management, Environmental Management licensing, auditing segments, which contribute ensuring legal, contractual international standardization requirements, those 14001:2015 standard. However, found, comparative analysis other regions, region's logistics main challenge works affects organizational and, consequently, affected.
